Program in brief:

DURATION: 2-6 weeks

COST-SHARE ARRANGEMENTS:

A)    US Government: international air fare, and daily honorarium

B)     Host institutions: local transportation, housing, and meals. IMPORTANT: Agency for Mobility and EU Programs will consider reimbursing Croatian academic/research institutions for the costs related to hosting Senior Specialists. ANNUAL QUOTA for Croatia: 8 Senior Specialists regardless of duration

CALENDAR:

November 25, 2012: applications received; applications reviewed; finalists selected; institutions notified

By December 20, 2012: selected applications forwarded to Washington

Washington reviews nominations in chronological order of start dates. Approved U.S. candidates are notified approx. 1 month before the start date of the program.

March 1, 2013: programs begin

Prospective U.S. Specialists should consult www.cies.org/specialists and register for the Fulbright Specialist Roster before being eligible to participate. Please instruct your contacts to register for the roster as soon as possible because the process of getting on the roster takes at least 3 months.
