Youth in Action is the the largest European Union programme for young poeple aged 15 - 28 (and in some cases 13-30) and youth organisations working in the field on non-formal education.
The programme aims to inspire a sense of active citizenship, solidarity and tolerance among young Europeans and to involve them in shaping the Union's future.
The main priority of the Youth in Action programme is active participation of young people in everyday life, while the overall goal is to inspire young people to become active citizens in Europe.
The programme promotes mobility within and beyond the EU borders, non-formal learning and intercultural dialogue, and encourages the inclusion of all young people, regardless of their educational, social and cultural background.
More information can be found at the the official website of the European Commission or at the official websites of National Agencies of each country participating in the Programme.
